Why can't my favorites be automatically cataloged and sorted according to my surfing habits? Why haven't my favorites been Googled? I asked this question, and my programmer friend looked at me like I was nuts. Well, I am a little. Anyway. Why are my favorites not dynamically stored for me and ranked according to the number of times I have gone to a site?
I hit Slashdot every day, multiple times a day, it should be the first choice. I go to ArsTechnica after I go to Slashdot, second choice. JoelOnSoftware often follows Slashdot and is the next the next choice. Unless, it is 2 am. That seems to be the time that I am "looking for places to surf" and end up at JoelOnSoftware. So, at 2 am it should be the first choice.
Ok, making the favorites dynamic according to time may be a stretch, but they should definately be ordered by the number of times that I hit a site.
Oh yeah, I hate having to actually tell the Favorites, to stay, so why doesn't this thing watch my habits, if I hit a site more than.... 10 times, then it goes into my Favorites at the bottom of the list.
The first 5 links in my Favorites should be directly available, but every thing else should be sorted by the keywords from the pages from that site and stored in the appropriate sub folders.
